Tom Misch and Yussef Dayes‘ new full-length album What Kinda Music is slated to release April 24. Now they’ve tapped Freddie Gibbs for “Nightrider,” a seriously smooth sonic offering that sees Misch and Dayes lay a groovy instrumental foundation to let the veteran emcee just go off. This songs drips with visions of a late night drive. 

This groovy and hypnotic single arrives with an equally engaging visual, an animated affair that finds the trio cruising through a desolate desert landscape—then the skies—in a drop-top convertible. Animated and directed by Jack Brown and co-designed by James Neilson, the clip and the tune elevate when Gibbs arrives to rock the microphone.
